mingle

I've been kinda busy lately, so yeah...here I'm gonna update all of you.

A few days ago went to stay over at my friend, Nishad's house, play soccer, eat dinner, play xbox, watch scary things on youtube and winterrowd. (You really wanna watch? Go to youtube and search "ghostly car ad". Don't blame me if you die of horror. You can also go to
www.winterrowd.com and see their presentation on optical illusions if you're still not scared enough...). Yeah, School friends meet church friends in the voice conference this time, my schol friends crazy to come and kill my church friends. Oh yeah, when I was sleeping my friends played a prank on me and smeared cream on my face. Next time I'll show you the pic.

The next day, we ate a delicious breakfast of Puri and Dahl. I'm not sure how you spell it, but anyway, after that we went to play soccer at a field we were not supposed to play soccer at. Then it started to drizzle. We hung in the house for a while, then went to wild wild wet. Uber fun! Had a later lunch.

But then it doesn't end there! I go to Jeremy Hon's house and play Halo 2 on his xbox. Of course I wasn't going to stay over. He had 90+ kills, I had 29 and his cousin around 0. Kinda wide ranges. I gotta get used to that game.

Hmm, thoughts/ "realisations"? Yeah, quite a few, mostly about Church friends. I'm trying to link and find out how Hon got so shunned by his friends, and I'm sure there's some misunderstanding somewhere. Also a lot of "realisations" about a specific someone, but I better not say here. Hmm, I also realise that the daily voice conferences are a lot less sian when there's only Hon, Hanya and I. Strange huh? Hope we start our own band! Rock on!

Pls don't mind any typos. Thats all.

Social thoughts

Heya guys,

lately, I've been doing a lot of thinking about a lot of my social problems in life, some just regarding me, and some regarding both parties.

Well, one of them, is my brothers. You see, I have two bros, one's really irritating and one is really naughty, but they're both plain pissing. But then, I bear the responsibility as an older bro, and everytime they piss me off or do something bad, and what consequence they face, its not half as bad as the chidings I get and the taunts from my bros.

Everyone always says, "Ryan, you're the older bro, show them the right way!" And, I really don't know, maybe I'm not being nice enough to them, but really, does anyone even care how my brothers make me feel? Seriously, sometimes, I just wished it was my sister and I. Why couldn't they be like my sister, so much more understanding!

Maybe I shouldn't blame Reuben, maybe I was like him at his age, and now I expect him to be a lot more mature than he is. But another thing is that, Reuben respects Russell a lot. A lot more than me, probably its because he sees Russell as a cooler bro, one that's not so fat, sporty, and funny. And he sees Ryan as a fat bro who always scolds him and nags at him.

And really, I just pray that my bros will mature and grow more understanding as time passes.

Hmm, coming to another point.
Friends.

Haven. OM. School. Church.

Friends everywhere. But you see, you need real friends that you can just call upon and can relate to.

About my friends from Haven and OM, I used to think that they were one of the best friends I could get. Don't get me wrong, they're a lovely bunch of people. But you see, as I hung out with them, I matured, but not everything can be rushed. Somethings you have to let time do. I can never fully relate to someone who has spent five more years in this world than I have. And sometimes, I just feel like the odd one out in all that fellowship.

Real friends I've found recently, are some at church. People like Hon, Bunny and Hanya are people I can relate to and count on, and not just go out to the movies with.

And recently, a phone talk one night made me think a lot more about a person. Someone I regard and feel more than friendly feelings for. But you see, like I said, you can't rush things in life. You have to let them flow. With the essence of time.

Yeah, so thats what's been happening.

Little Shop of Horros

Hallo,

Hmm, yesterday Haveners went to watch Little Shop of Horrors at Victoria Theatre, 8pm. I guess it was a kinda weird story, but, it was funny. And its a broadway show anyway.

So after watching it, we went to thank SELENA (Did I finally get it right?) Tan for inviting us for the free show and Tim Chan bought her flowers as a gift. Anyway, we all got autographs from the Dim Sum Dollies, Hosan Leong, Lim Yu Beng, and other guys. I'd add the picture of the autographs some other time, cos I haven't uploaded it to my computer.

After that waited at Cricket Club for my mum to fetch me, convenient for her cos she was at Marina Square watching Flushed Away with my two younger bros. Yep, nearly lost my handphone cover there, Thanks to Jeremy who found it when I called him.

Had a great time guys, thanks!

Weekend...end

Heya guys,

Ok, saturday.

Went out with family, girls did some shopping first. We had SUSHI for lunch at um, sushitei, I think. Sushi rocks! I could eat it everyday. After that, we went for ice-skating, while my sis went shopping with her friends.

Ice-skating is fun, but painful, cos it can really twist your ankle. When you see the pros do it its like, uber cool. I fell...twice, I think. Or more. 14 bucks for two hours. If Singapore snowed, it would be Unlimited time duration for free. Singapore is so yuck.

Ok, so after ice-skating, there was church. I went alone since my sister was supposed to make her own way there. I was kinda late. Hon, Bunny, David and all were waiting for me like I was 10 minutes late (according to their watches). But according to my watch I was 2 minutes early. Quite big difference.

Ok, we sat at the back cos Bunny was avoiding Choy (he didn't want Choy to make him do ice-breakers). Followed by Hanya coming in to sit behind us at the ver last row. And my sister coming in AN HOUR LATE, seating to seats in front of us. I was thinking in my mind, "WTH?" cos I thought she was already there.

But she was an hour late. So I sms her "Hallo, why are you so late?"

And she tells me something like the bus-stop disappeared cos of construction. Ahh well, can't blame her for that.

After church, I didn't wanna go home, cos I wanted to hang out with my friends a while more, so they made a human barrier to shield me from my sis's sight. And it worked for about ten minutes. It was super funny.

Sunday

Great day, after cell the usual gang of us + Wanxuan went out to Bugis to watch Step Up. And there was this group of women who were always talking. So irritating. After that browsed some shops (no point right? No money) and went for LAN counterstrike. Gives me a headache though.
Then we went to eat tea and a food court (ate sushi!) and Bunny followed. Then we all went home. So fun.

Today

Ate breakfast, played computer, wrote in blog.

P.S.
Now you can compare the difference between weekdays and weekends even in holidays. And also pls excuse all the typos in this post, I'm too lazy to go back and check everything.

The weekend

Morning people!

Last night was super funny. My bros and I were playing Tai Ti. I'm not sure if thats how you spell it by the way, but anyway, Reuben didn't really know how to play. The things Reuben and Russell did together were the funniest combo, Russ trying to tell him how to play, and Reuben not having a clue in the world.

After that we watched the Southpark movie on youtube, which I must say is incredibly far-fetched. But its one of those movies that make you feel weird. Like Cast Away (for me, that is). We slept at 1am. Pretty late huh?

Hmm, more people starting to know about my blog. Wonder when till everyone knows and starts to spam my cbox.

Today's SATURDAY. That means extra good breakfast, extra fun, and Church!

Kk people, have a God Blessed weekend
!

Ok, its a little long...

Heya guys...

Yeah, yesterday I was practising my violin (to be honest I don't practise a lot :-P) and at 9.30pm I realised I was missing my Vol. 4 book. And I was turning my whole house down in search of it.

Today - Watched some tv, looked for book, didn't find it. Picket fences was what I watched. Sadly, I don't have cable. And ate lunch, it was porridge unfortunately.

It seems that everything is becoming an issue of bad luck. I looked everywhere for the book and I still can't find it. It's either in the bookshelf, or got transported with the air purifier away to dunno where. Damn book, I took it out on Sunday night and I'm sure I either put it back or on my table. Now it's run off to the land of no dimension.

My sister finished her O lvl's (issit lvls or lvl's?) today. Whoop, clap cheer. She's gonna celebrate with not a care in the world. I dont think anyone in my family has to do 4 chinese journal records and read a chinese book (which comes with a whole bunch of questions) during this supposed-to-be-splendid holiday. Ooh, suprise suprise, its only CHINESE homework. AND I still have to practise math! D-A-M-N. What's with the holidays?

Hmm, it makes me feel guilty not being so on about violin. Should I carry on? Or not?

Ok, here's the daily think thought...

Oh yeah, about things where you have questions and don't know what to do. I get frustrated for a while, than I remember God. And you see, the way I ask God stuff, no, let me rephrase. The way God answers my questions...sometimes, is truly amazing.

E.g. (and this is true, about a month ago?) Ok, I was having a lotta trouble deciding whether to take up drums for my school SYF that's coming up next year. So I was listing all the pros and cons in my head, and yet, I still couldn't decided with my own strength. Then I realised I hadn't asked God. So I lay on my bed and said, "God, what should I do?" So I heard this voice (in my head) telling me to just go for it and not for hockey to try and realise my real potential. Or something like that. And after that, I felt totally at ease. Like the rock was lifted off my heart. It was just a great experience. So I went for drums.

So now, since then, I ask God a lot. Like when I used my sister's nailclipper and she claimed I didn't return it. I looked for it a lot and a lot, to no avail. So I prayed and God said, "Remember what Martin(classmate) said? Lost things normally turn up." So I decided to go bathe and wash up. It was dumb, spending about an hour looking for something that I couldn't find. I lay in my bed about 10 mins, and my sister came in, "Ehehe, Ryan, I found it, sorry." And yeah, it was under her pencil case where I returned it (well, the case wasn't there at first but, yeah. )

So see? God does speak. But the main point I want to put today is that I am confused. Because sometimes I hear so many voices I don't know which one God is. Or if God is one of them at all. I want to finish off with something my uncle luke said.

"So many voices in my head. God, which one's you?"

Blog Progress/ Holiday opinions

Hey guys...

Slowly progressing with this blog. Got a tagboard, big thanks to Marcus for telling me the website! Still need a blogskin though, and blogskins.com is so laggy on my comp. I also can't see the skin. And yes, I've tried this with all three computers.

Well, these holidays are slowly passing. I can't believe I got homework. I wanna sue the school or something! (I hope saying this is not illegal, I'm just kidding.) But I guess in my opinion, holidays are for relaxing, and not making the guy do stuff he doesn't want to.

Sigh, I don't know whats really going to come up these hols (The air doesn't taste so pleasant), but we'll just see shall we?

Second day in the new blog

Ok, spiffed it up a bit, juggled the page elements, added a caption text intro., and added a song
(Thanks to Hon's blog's ad for iWebMusic), called I Can Only Imagine.

However it's still to constricted, and I need a blog skin, which I was trying to search on blogskin.com, but somehow it laggs big time on my laptop. I could turn 85 before I get a nice blogskin.

Oh yeah, I also need a tag board. Where do people get that?

Well, I'm off to research on all of this. Hopefully I can get the blogskin and tag board by today.

First time

Why am I doing this? Well, gee, I dunno.

I was bored one Monday afternoon during the school holidays. I didn't wanna work, I didn't wanna play. And that week almost everyone I knew had a blog. And my MSN space just put the last straw on my camel back. So I thought, "That's it, I'm gonna get a real blog."

So what do I do?

I got one. And I'm typing in it now. And I know I'm gonna suck at this for a while, so bear with me.

K, lets see.
You can visit my msn space which I probably won't use anymore since it's so restricted. Now I'm off to make my blog nicer (hopefully) and what y'all might say, "zhng" it.
